A Whirlwind

In about an hour, we’ll be at the 2nd English Cafe of the year. It’s a place where we can practically serve the students here on campus in Freiburg by giving them a chance to practice and learn English (hence the name). Last week, our theme was baseball and this week we’ll have Halloween as a theme. Nothing crazy, just some pumpkins and little background about the origin of Halloween.

In about 14 hours, we’ll get on a train to Frankfurt. Lord willing, that train will get us to the Frankfurt airport in time to fly home to South Dakota for the weekend!!! That’s right, my sister is getting married this weekend. Sadee and I are super excited to be at the wedding (not to mention our excitement for some serious Applebee’s Boneless Wings!!!!) Please pray for our extremely quick and full trip. That we would have energy when we’re home and that the weekend would be an awesome celebration!!

The Waiting is Over!!!

After nearly six weeks of waiting, we finally have internet and phone at our house!!! I still need to find an adapter and take care of some registration with the internet company, but at least things are working. In fact, this update is the first one to be written from our humble little home on Sedan Strasse. So…you can be sure that we will be updating the website more frequently. Check back often as we want to keep you updated on what God is doing in our lives and in the ministry here in Freiburg.

We haven’t forgotten about pictures. We’ll get them posted soon!!!
