It’s crazy to see time literally flying by. Although the semester ended over a month ago, we’ve still been busy. The last two weeks were filled with Spring Breakers from our partnership campuses in the states. It was incredible to have some familiar faces in town and to be able to show students around. For me (Aaron) I realized how familiar Freiburg has become. I didn’t realize how comfortable I’ve become at ordering food at restaurants, getting around town, and just “living” in another culture. It was great to help the visiting students!
For the next few weeks before classes start, we’ll be busy preparing. Right now, 4 people from our team are in the states with German students. They are visiting our partnership campuses (sort of an exchange). So…while they are gone, Sadee and I are busy taking care of some “business” parts of ministry. Last month, we made some plans as a team and we’re working to get those plans into place before students arrive back in Freiburg.
On a personal note, we’re doing okay. The weather has been cold and dreary which always makes it a little tough to be motivated. We feel like God is doing some things in our hearts that are growing us, but that process can always be a little hard. If you think of it, you can pray for us…just that our hearts would be soft to what God wants to do in our lives!
