New Newsletter!!!!

We just sent out a new newsletter - proving that we are (in fact) not dead.  You can check out the newsletter on our "Newsletters" page, or keep reading in order to see the main article.

“Look at how much God has changed your life.”

I’ll never forget Scotty Moore sharing those words the night before Sadee and I were married.  As the RA my sophomore year at MN State, Moorehead, Scotty invited me to be a part of Campus Crusade nearly every week.  More than that, he invited me to church each Sunday and even painstakingly took the time to draw detailed maps on how to get there.

As a sophomore, a dynamic relationship with God wasn’t of much interest to me.  Six years later, as Scotty stood as the best-man in our wedding, it was amazing to think of the work and life-change God had accomplished in my life throughout my college years - both through the ministry of Campus Crusade and through friends like Scotty.
In fact, not long after I graduated from MNSU and reflected on the way my life had changed, I decided to join the staff of Campus Crusade.  God had given me a heart to reach 19-year-old sophomores who, like myself, had little desire for a dynamic relationship with Him.

As Sadee and I continue to serve with Campus Crusade for Christ, we are still compelled by the stories of students like us.  Although we’ve spent the last 5 months serving “behind the scenes” at Campus Crusade’s World Headquarters in Orlando, FL, we still have had opportunities to be involved in the lives of students.

In late December, we attended the Indianapolis Winter Conference.  As one of 10 Winter Conferences across the country, this conference hosted over 2,000 students from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan.  As a student, it was conferences like these that really shaped and formed what I believe about God.

Two weeks ago, we were able to “host” a group of students who were visiting the World Headquarters in Orlando.  These 35 students were invited from across the country to find out about the specific operational needs of Campus Crusade.  They spent the weekend discovering how they can use the unique gifts and abilities God has given them in areas like finance, design, journalism and even computer development.

For Sadee and I, it was encouraging and even refreshing to spend time again with students.  Ironically, these students are in the midst of deciding where God is leading them in the future - a process very familiar to Sadee and I.

Throughout the last few months, we have been asked to consider many different options for our future.  Since our year of development is past the halfway point, we are trying to discern exactly what our next steps should be.

Please continue to pray for us in this decision making process.  Regardless of where we may find ourselves in August, we are hopeful that God will continue to use us in the lives of people - enabling us to share with others:

“Look how much God has changed your life.”
